Cisco Certificate Authority Proxy Function (CAPF), Version 1.0(1)

Version and description:

The install program name is ciscocapf.1-0-1.exe, and will install version 1.0(1) of the Cisco Certificate Authority Proxy Function (CAPF).

 

CCM Compatible Version

CAPF must be installed on a Cisco Call Manager Version 4.0(1) or later, preferably on the Publisher, with an account having administrator privileges. If it's installed on other machines running Cisco Call Manager, the call processing performance of the Cisco Call Managers may be affected depending on whether there is some activity on CAPF.

CAPF has to be installed on one Cisco Call Manager system for each cluster.

Installing CAPF:

  1. On the server where you downloaded the executable, double-click the downloaded file to begin the installation.
  2. In the Welcome window, click Next.
  3. Enter you full name and name of your organization.  Choose who can use this application.  Click Next.
  4. Choose the location where the files will install.  If you want to do so, click Browse to navigate to the location.  After you choose the location, click Next.
  5. To begin the installation, click Next.
  6. Click Finish.
