Problem Description To upgrade to the unrestricted version of 7.1(5) from 5.x/6.x/7.x, this patch must be applied prior to initiating the upgrade so that unrestricted 7.1(5) is recognized as a valid upgrade. Products Affected The following UCM versions: Cisco Unified Communications Manager - 5.1(3), 6.1(3), 6.1(4), 6.1(5), 7.0(2), 7.1(2), 7.1(3) Who is Affected ***This patch ONLY needs to be applied if the following conditions are met *** 1.) The current active version of the UCM matches one the following versions: 5.1(3), 6.1(3), 6.1(4), 6.1(5), 7.0(2), 7.1(2), 7.1(3) AND 2.) The system is being upgraded to an unrestricted version of 7.1(5) Installation Instructions File Name: ciscocm.allow_upgrade_to_unrestricted.cop.sgn MD5 Sum: 70:82:4d:18:89:28:6e:b9:65:48:99:6f:84:1b:db:cf *** The patch installation should be done off hours during a maintenance window because there is a slight risk that installation during normal business hours could temporarily impact system performance *** Install this file on all nodes in the cluster from the "Install/Upgrade" option under "Cisco Unified Communications Operating System Administration."
