CCC 1.2(2) SR1 Read Me ** Requirements CCC 1.2(2) must already be installed. NOTE: This patch does NOT require CCC1.2(2) SR2 and does not provide compatibility with CallManager 4.x. ** Purpose This patch will fix the following problems: CSCeb42085: Conference voice quality breaks down after approx 20 minutes CSCec36833: Intermittently CCC does not allow callers to join a conference CSCeb03843: LDAP: Regcopy echoes the administrative user password CSCeb87516: Conference Schedule failure does not give the correct error pop up ** PreInstallation/Uninstallation Before starting installation or uninstallation, you must turn-off anti-virus software and disable Cisco Security Agent. Failure to do this may result in an incomplete or failed operation. Use the following steps to disable Cisco Security Agent: 1. Right click CSA icon on program bar and click "Suspend security", press "OK" when prompted whether you want to suspend it. 2. Go to the services list and stop the "Cisco Security Agent" service. To disable McAfee VirusScan, you need to: 1. Double click VirusScan icon on program bar. 2. Click the button NOTE: You *must* disable both the Virus checking and Cisco Security Agent or install/uninstall will fail. If you are using a virus checking program other than McAfee, please take the necessary steps to disable checking. Consult your manual for information. ** Installing this Service Release (SR1) Start installation by clicking on the file "ccc-1-2-2-sr1.exe". It will ask you to stop CSA and anti-virus software, if you have already done so, click to continue. Install will do the following: 1. Stop "w3srv", "iisadmin" "SNMP Service" and "Conferencing Gateway" services NOTE: Stopping "iisadmin" may take 2-4 minutes. 2. Save files the following files to C:\program files\Cisco\conferenceconnction\patch_1_2_2_1" C:\program files\Cisco\conferenceconnection\server\mp.exe C:\program files\Cisco\conferenceconnection\LDAPSync\RegCopy.exe C:\inetpub\scripts\jenga.dll C:\inetpub\scripts\jenga.map C:\inetpub\scripts\jenga.pdb 3. Replacing the above files with newer versions. 4. Copy "resourceerror.tem" to "C:\inetpub\Jenga" 5. Prompt you to reboot machine. ** Uninstalling this Service Release (SR1) If you want to uninstall CCC1.2(2) SR1 patch: 1. You must turn-off anti-virus software and disable Cisco Security Agent. Please refer to "Before Installation " section for detailed instruction. 1. Go to "Control Panel"->"Add/Remove programs", choose "Cisco Conference Connection 1.2(2) SR1", click button. 2. Confirm that you want to delete it; 3. It will ask you to stop CSA and anti-virus software, if you have done so, click "Yes" button to continue. The uninstaller will perform the following steps: A. Stop "w3srv", "iisadmin", "SNMP Service" and "Conferencing Gateway" services. NOTE: Stopping "iisadmin" may take 2-4 minutes. B. The original versions of the files listed under step 2 "** Installing" above will be replaced. NOTE: "resourcerr.tem" is NOT removed. It should remain. C. Ask to reboot machine. The log for install and uninstall is saved in file "C:\CiscoInstall.log". ** Known Issues The following problem occurs with Cisco IP Phone firmware version for the 7960/7940 phones. CSCed52479: Selecting CCC service on 7960/7940 does not return any data or an error: "Host not found". Workaround: Use the older version of phone firmware, or search for a patch
