CCC 1.2(2) SR2 Read Me ** Requirements CCC 1.2(2) must already be installed. We recommend that CCC 1.2(2) SR1 be installed before installing this patch. ** Purpose This patch will upgrade CCC 1.2(2) so that it can support CallManager 4.0. It will update the JTAPI subystem to support changes made in CallManager release 4.x. Without this patch, CCC can NOT operate with CallManager 4.x. NOTE: This patch does NOT include the fixes found in the patch CCC 1.2(2) SR1. While that patch is not required, we recommend that you install SR1 before installing this patch. ** Before Installation Before starting installation or uninstallation of this patch, you must turn-off anti-virus software scanners and disable Cisco Security Agent. Use the following steps to disable Cisco Security Agent: 1. Right click CSA icon on program bar and click "Suspend security", press "OK" when prompted whether you want to suspend it. 2. Go to services list and stop "Cisco Security Agent" service. To disable McAfee VirusScan, you need to: 1. Double click the VirusScan icon on program bar. 2. Click the button. NOTE: You must do both steps to disable CSA. Otherwise CSA will prevent the installation process from stopping "iisadmin" service and installation will fail. If you are using another virus scanner, please disable it. ** Installation Start installation by clicking on "ccc-1-2-2-sr2.exe". It will ask you to stop CSA and anti-virus software, if you have done so, click the button to continue. Install will automatically do the following: 1. Stop "w3srv" and "iisadmin" services 2. Rename your original "SubsystemJTAPI.jar" to "SubsystemJTAPI.jar.ccc122" and save it to "C:\program files\Cisco\conferenceconnection\patch_1_2_2_2", 3. Replace "C:\program files\wfavvid\SubsystemJTAPI.jar" with the fixed version; 4. Prompt you to reboot the machine. NOTE: Stopping "iisadmin" may take 2-4 minutes. ** Uninstall Turn-off anti-virus software and disable the Cisco Security Agent. Please refer to "Before Installation " section for detailed instructions. 1. Go to "Control Panel"->"Add/Remove programs", choose "Cisco Conference Connection 1.2(2) SR2", click the button. 2. Confirm that you want to delete it. 3. It will ask you to stop CSA and anti-virus software, if you have done so, click the button to continue. The uninstall program will then: A. Stop "w3srv" and "iisadmin" services. NOTE: Stopping "iisadmin" may take 2-4 minutes. B. The original "SubsystemJTAPI.jar" which is saved as "SubsystemJTAPI.jar.ccc122" in "C:\program files\Cisco\conferenceconnection\patch_1_2_2_2" will be copied back to "C:\program files\wfavvid". C. Prompts you to reboot the machine. ** Log File for Install/Uninstall The log for install and uninstall is saved in "C:\CiscoInstall.log". ** Known Issues The following problem occurs with Cisco IP Phone firmware version for the 7960/7940 phones. CSCed52479: Selecting CCC service on 7960/7940 does not return any data or an error: "Host not found". Workaround: Use the older version of phone firmware, or search for a patch
