Circuit Type
|
Defines the circuit type:
VC_HO_Path_Circuit: Creates a specific high-order path (VC4 or VC4
concatenated) circuit.
VC_LO_Path_Circuit: Creates a low-order path (VC3, VC11 (with
XC-VXC-10G card only), or VC12) circuit.
VC_LO_Path_Tunnel: Creates a VC low-order path tunnel. VC low-order path
tunnels allow VC3, VC11 (with XC-VXC-10G card only), and VC12 circuits to
pass through an ONS node without using low-order cross-connect resources on
the cross-connect cards. Low-order circuits using tunnels use low-order
cross-connect capacity only at the source and destination nodes. One low-order
tunnel can carry three VC3s, and each VC3 can contain a VC3 circuit span, 28
VC11 circuit spans, or 21 VC12 circuit spans.
VC_LO_Path_Aggregation: Creates a low-order aggregation point (LAP). LAPs
allow low-order VC12, VC11 (with XC-VXC-10G card only), and VC3 circuits
to be aggregated into a VC4 for handoff to non-ONS 15454 SDH networks or
equipment, such as interoffice facilities (IOFs), switches, or digital access
cross-connect systems (DACS). The VC4 grooming end of the LAP requires an
STM-N card. LAPs can be created on MS-SPRings, 1+1 protection groups, or
unprotected nodes, but cannot be created on SNCP nodes.
VC_HO_Path_VCAT_Circuit: Creates a high-order path VCAT VC4 circuit.
VC4-V circuits require ML-Series and FC_MR-4 cards at the circuit source and
destination nodes.
VC_LO_Path_VCAT_Circuit: Creates a low-order path virtual concatenated VC
circuit. VC-V circuits require ML-Series and FC_MR-4 cards at the circuit
source and destination nodes.
OCHNC: Creates an OCHNC between ONS nodes that are provisioned for
DWDM.
