Port
|
Displays the port number.
|
EB
|
Path errored block (EB) indicates that one or more bits are in error within a block.
|
ES
|
Displays the number of errored seconds. An errored second is a one-second period with one or more coding violations at that layer or one or more incoming defects at that layer.

SES
|
Displays the number of severely errored seconds. A severely errored second is a one-second period with x or more coding violations at layer one or more incoming defects at that layer. The value of x depends on the line rate and bit error rate.

BBE
|
Background block error (BBE) is an errored block not occurring as part of an SES.
|
UAS
|
Path unavailable seconds (UAS) is a count of the seconds when the path was unavailable.
|
Directions
|
Select Near End or Far End for the performance monitoring (PM) direction.
|
Intervals
|
Select 15 Min or 1 Day for the PM interval.
|
Types
|
Select MS, RS, or Path, where applicable. Some screens have the option to choose from Multiplex Section, Regenerator Section, or VC LO.

Refresh
|
Refreshes the tab fields.
|
Apply
|
Applies changes made to the fields in the tab.
|
Reset
|
Cancels any changes to the tab and returns the fields to their last-saved settings.

|
Displays context-sensitive help.
