Optics PM > Current Values

Use the Optics PM > Current Values tab to view the current optical PM data for the TXP or MXP card.

Description

Param

Displays the name of the PM parameter.

  • Laser Bias (Min, %): Minimum laser bias current displayed as a percentage

  • Laser Bias (Avg, %): Average laser bias current displayed as a percentage

  • Laser Bias (Max, %): Maximum laser bias current displayed as a percentage

  • Rx Optical Pwr (Min, dBm): Minimum receive optical power displayed in dBm

  • Rx Optical Pwr (Avg, dBm): Average receive optical power displayed in dBm

  • Rx Optical Pwr (Max, dBm): Maximum receive optical power displayed in dBm

  • (This parameter does not apply to all cards.) Tx Optical Pwr (Min, dBm): Minimum transmit optical power displayed in dBm

  • (This parameter does not apply to all cards.) Tx Optical Pwr (Avg, dBm): Average transmit optical power displayed in dBm

  • (This parameter does not apply to all cards.) Tx Optical Pwr (Max, dBm): Maximum transmit optical power displayed in dBm

Port x (Client or Trunk)

Shows the PM data for the client or trunk port.

Directions

Select Near End or Far End for the PM direction.

Intervals

Select 15 Min or 1 Day for the PM interval.

Refresh

Refreshes the tab fields.

Auto-refresh

Allows you to select the autorefresh rate for the PM values.

Help

Displays context-sensitive help.
