Optical Chn > Parameters
Use the Optical Chn > Parameters subtab to view the AD-xC-xx.x card optical parameters.
Displays the port administration state. Choosing an administrative state from the drop-down list and clicking Apply changes the port's service state unless network conditions prevent the change. Admin states include:
unlocked: Puts the port in service. The port service state changes to unlocked-enabled.
unlocked,automaticInService: Puts the port in automatic in-service. The port service state changes to unlocked-disabled,automaticInService.
locked-disabled: Removes the port from service and disables it. The port service state changes to locked-enabled,disabled.
locked,maintenance: Removes the port from service for maintenance. The port service state changes to locked-enabled,maintenance.
An autonomously generated state that gives the overall condition of the port. Service states appear in the format: Administrative_State-Operational_State, Status_Attribute. For additional state information, see States.
Displays the direction of the ring that the port is on (east-to-west or west-to-east).
Variable optical attenuation power value entered by the user.
Displays the port's actual wavelength value, calculated by CTC.
Displays the expected wavelength for the port, furnished by CTC.
Automatic in-service soak time. The duration of time that must pass with an uninterrupted signal before the traffic/termination transitions to the unlocked-enabled service state.
Cancels any changes to the tab and returns the fields to their last-saved settings.
