Inventory

Use the Inventory tab to view a complete list of equipment installed on the Cisco ONS node.

Item

Description

Location

Identifies where the equipment is installed, either the chassis or slot number.

Eqpt Type

Displays the type of equipment but not the specific card name, for example, STM4 or E-1.

Admin State

Changes the service state of the card unless network conditions prevent the change. For more information about administrative states, refer to the ONS node product documentation.

  • unlocked: Puts the entity in-service.

  • locked,disabled: Removes the entity from service and disables it.

  • locked,maintenance: Removes the entity from service for maintenance.

  • unlocked,automaticInservice: Puts the entity in automatic in-service.

  • locked,outOfGroup: (Virtual concatenated [VCAT] circuits only.) Removes a VCAT member cross-connect from service and from the group of members.

Service State

Displays the current card service state, which is an autonomously generated state that gives the overall condition of the card. Service states appear in the format: Administrative_State-Operational_State, Status_Attribute. For additional state information, see States.

Actual Eqpt Type

Displays the actual equipment type, for example, OC12 IR/STM4 SH 1310.

HW Part #

Displays the hardware part number; this number is printed on the top of the card or equipment piece.

HW Rev

Displays the hardware revision number.

Serial #

Displays the equipment serial number; this number is unique to each card.

CLEI Code

Displays the Common Language Equipment Identifier (CLEI) code.

Firmware Rev

Displays the card's boot code revision number.

Bootrom Rev

Displays the bootrom revision number.

Product ID

Displays the product identification number.

Version ID

Displays the version identification number.

Delete Card

Deletes the card highlighted in the Inventory table from node view.

Reset Card

Resets the card highlighted in the Inventory table.
