Inventory
Use the Inventory tab to view a complete list of equipment installed on the Cisco ONS node.
Identifies where the equipment is installed, either the chassis or slot number.
Displays the type of equipment but not the specific card name, for example, STM4 or E-1.
Changes the service state of the card unless network conditions prevent the change. For more information about administrative states, refer to the ONS node product documentation.
locked,disabled: Removes the entity from service and disables it.
locked,maintenance: Removes the entity from service for maintenance.
unlocked,automaticInservice: Puts the entity in automatic in-service.
locked,outOfGroup: (Virtual concatenated [VCAT] circuits only.) Removes a VCAT member cross-connect from service and from the group of members.
Displays the current card service state, which is an autonomously generated state that gives the overall condition of the card. Service states appear in the format: Administrative_State-Operational_State, Status_Attribute. For additional state information, see States.
Displays the actual equipment type, for example, OC12 IR/STM4 SH 1310.
Displays the hardware part number; this number is printed on the top of the card or equipment piece.
Displays the equipment serial number; this number is unique to each card.
Displays the Common Language Equipment Identifier (CLEI) code.
Deletes the card highlighted in the Inventory table from node view.
