MS-SPRing (Node View)
Use the node view MS-SPRing tab to view node MS-SPRing information including the ring name, ring type (two-fiber or four-fiber), status, the node's MS-SPRing ID, any active ring or span reversions, and the node's east and west spans. You can also create, delete, and edit the MS-SPRing, view the MS-SPRing map, and convert two-fiber MS-SPRings to four-fiber MS-SPRings.
Displays the slot and card used for the MS-SPRing west line.
Displays the slot and card used for the MS-SPRing east line.
Displays the MS-SPRing Creation wizard, where you can create a new MS-SPRing.
Displays the MS-SPRing squelch table. The table shows STMs that will be squelched for every isolated node. The STMs are replaced by the appropriate path alarm indication signal (AIS) to prevent misconnections.
Displays the ring interworking on protection (RIP) table for an MS-SPRing. The secondary node maintains a RIP table that contains, for each incoming and outgoing inter-ring circuit carried on the protection bandwidth, the source or terminating node address and the primary node address.
If the highlighted MS-SPRing is two-fiber, the button allows you to upgrade the MS-SPRing to a four-fiber MS-SPRing.
Cancels any MS-SPRing subtab changes and returns the fields to their last-saved settings.
