Edit MS-SPRing Map View

When you right-click a node in the MS-SPRing map view, the following menu displays:

  • Open Node: Displays node view.

  • Set Node ID: Displays and allows you to change the node's MS-SPRing identification number.

  • Squelch Table: Displays the MS-SPRing squelch table. The table shows VC4s that will be squelched for every isolated node. The VC4s are replaced by the appropriate path alarm indication signal (AIS) to prevent misconnections.

  • Rip Table: Displays the MS-SPRing Ring Interworking on Protection (RIP) table. The secondary node maintains a RIP table that contains, for each incoming and outgoing inter-ring circuit carried on the protection bandwidth, the source or terminating node address and the primary node address.
