Members
(ONS 15310-CL, ONS 15310-MA, and ONS 15454 only) Use the Members tab to view information about STS-V and VT-V circuit members.
The VCAT circuit member type, either specific STS-V or VT-V.
The VCAT circuit member size. Member size for STS-V circuits is STS-1, STS-3c, and STS-12c. Member size for VT-V circuits is 1.5.
The VCAT circuit member direction. The only valid entry is 2-way (bidirectional).
The type of circuit protection. For VCAT circuits, "unprot" (unprotected) is the circuit protection type.
The VCAT circuit member status. See the Circuit Statuses table for circuit status descriptions.
The VCAT circuit member source in the format: node/slot/port "port name"/member. (Port name appears in quotes.) Node and slot always display; port "port name"/member might display, depending on the source card, circuit type, and whether a name is assigned to the port. If the circuit size is a concatenated size (3c, 6c, 12c, etc.), STSs used in the circuit are indicated by an ellipsis, for example, "S7..9," (STSs 7, 8, and 9) or S10..12 (STS 10, 11, and 12).
If the port is on an ONS 15310-CL or ONS 15310-MA and is not an optical port, the port format is port type-port number, for example, pEC1-1. If the port is a DS-1 port, the port number is not shown, for example, pDS1.
The VCAT circuit member destination in the same format as the member source.
The number of nonnode links that constitute the VCAT circuit member.
The member state: In Group or Out of Group. An In Group member has cross-connects in the IS-NR; OOS-MA,AINS; or OOS-MA,MT service state. An Out of Group member has cross-connects in the OOS-MA,DSBLD or OOS-MA,OOG service state.
Displays the Edit Circuits dialog box for the selected member.
Displays the Add Members dialog box.
If checked, changes the circuit view in the graphic area to show circuit routing information including source slot, port, STS, and VT. The detailed view also shows working and protect circuit paths.
If checked, displays any VT tunnels that carry the VT circuit. If the circuit is not carried by a VT tunnel, no changes appear when the box is checked.
If checked, hides the TXP and MXP connections on which STS and VT circuits are routed, showing only the logical OC-N links. This check box is available only when circuits are routed on TXP or MXP cards provisioned in section or line mode.
