External Alarms

Use the External Alarms subtab to view XTC card external alarms.

Input #	Shows the number assigned to the external alarm.
Alarm Type	Shows the alarm type. Thirty-seven alarm types are available.
Severity	Indicates the alarm severity. The alarm severity determines whether the LEDs are activated. Critical (CR), Major (MJ), and Minor (MN) alarms activate the LEDs. Not Alarmed (NA) and Not Reported (NR) conditions do not activate LEDs, but do report the information in CTC.
Virtual Wire	Shows whether the alarm is assigned to a virtual wire.
Raised When	Indicates the device contact condition (open or closed) that triggers the alarm.
Description	Shows the user-defined alarm description.
Help	Displays context-sensitive help.
