Sets the threshold for the number of severely errored seconds. A severely errored second is a one-second period with x or more coding violations at that layer or one or more incoming defects at that layer. The value of x depends on the line rate and bit error rate.

Sets the threshold for the unavailable seconds.

Sets the threshold for the background block errors.

FC
|
Sets the threshold for the failure count.

Directions
|
Select Near End or Far End for the PM direction.

|
Select 15 Min or 1 Day for the PM interval.

Types
|
Two types are available:
SM (OTUk)-Optical channel transport unit order of k section monitoring.
The OTUk includes FEC and overhead for management and PM. The FEC is
based on Reed Solomon specified in the ITU-T G.975 standard.
PM (ODUk)-Optical channel data unit order of k performance monitoring.
The ODUk is composed of several overheads for path performance
monitoring, tandem connection monitoring (TCM), communication channels,
and protection control (APS/PCC).

Refreshes the display after the interval is changed.
