DS1

(DS3XM-12 card only) Use the DS1 subtab to view DS1 information for the DS3XM-12 card.

Port

Displays the port number.

Port Name

Displays the name of the electrical port.

Service State

Shows the autonomously generated state that gives the overall condition of the port. Service states appear in the format: Primary State-Primary State Qualifier, Secondary State. For additional state information, see States.

Line Type

Sets the DS1 line type:

  • ESF: (Extended Super Frame) A multiframe consisting of 24 frames.

  • D4: A multiframe consisting of 12 frames.

  • Autoframe: (DS1/E1-56 only) An automatically detected frame format.

  • Unframed

Note: If the framing format cannot be detected when in Autoframe mode, it is set to Unframed.

FDL Mode

Displays the facility data link (FDL) mode.

Apply

Applies changes made to the fields in the tab.

Reset

Cancels any changes to the tab and returns the fields to their last-saved settings.

Displays context-sensitive help.
