Use the Card subtab to provision the backplane throughput (data mode) for the DS3XM-12. The DS3XM-12 supports two data modes:

• STS48 is the redundant 311-MHz, 8-bit data mode. (If XC10G cross-connect cards are not installed, the DS3XM-12 must be installed in Slot 5, 6, 12, or 13 for this option to be available.)

• STS12 is the legacy redundant 155-MHz, 4-bit data mode.
