Card

(ONS 15454 only) Use the Card subtab to provision the ONS 15454 ML1000-2, ML100T-12, and ML100X-8 framing type.

Mode

Choose the card mode. Changing the card mode causes the card to reboot.

  • HDLC-High-level data link control. Does not support VLAN trunking, which is standard on most Cisco data devices.

  • GFP-F-Frame-mapped generic framing procedure, a PDU-oriented adaptation mode that maps a client frame into one GFP frame.

  • RPR 802.17: 802.17 Resilient Packet Ring which is IEEE compliant.

Apply

Applies changes made to the fields in the tab.

Reset

Cancels any changes to the tab and returns the fields to their last-saved settings.
