Firewall

Use the Firewall tab to provision the IIOP listener port to allow communication between the CTC computer and ONS nodes residing behind firewalls. The Firewall tab also allows you to set the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) IOP callback port information.

Item	Description
CTC CORBA (IIOP Listener Port)	Sets the IIOP listener port.
Default - Variable	Used to connect to ONS nodes from within a firewall or if no firewall is used (default).
Standard Constant (683)	Uses Port 683, the CORBA default port number.
Other Constant	If Port 683 is not used, allows you to enter the port provided by your firewall administrator.
CTC CORBA (SSLIOP Listener Port)	Sets the SSLIOP listener port.
Default - Variable	Used to connect to ONS nodes from within a firewall or if no firewall is used (default).
Standard Constant (684)	Uses Port 684, the CORBA default port number.
Other Constant	If Port 684 is not used, allows you to enter the port provided by your firewall administrator.
OK	Saves any Firewall tab changes and closes the Preferences dialog box.
Cancel	Cancels any Firewall tab changes and closes the Preferences dialog box.
Apply	Saves any Firewall tab changes but does not close the Preferences dialog box.
Help	Displays CTC context-sensitive help.
