LDCC


(ONS 15310-CL, ONS 15310-MA, ONS 15454, and ONS 15600 only) Use the LDCC subtab to view, create, edit, and delete LDCC terminations (D4-D12 bytes). These bytes provide a 576-kbps message channel for CTC alarms, maintenance, control, monitoring and other CTC administration data.

Description

Port

Displays the slot and port where the LDCC is provisioned.

OSPF Disabled on Link

Indicates whether OSPF is disabled on the link. OSPF should be disabled only when the slot and port connect to third-party equipment that does not support OSPF.

Port Service State

Indicates the LDCC port state. Service states appear in the format: Primary State-Primary State Qualifier, Secondary State. For additional state information, see States.

Foreign

When checked, indicates that the far-end node is a non-ONS node.

Foreign IP

Displays the foreign node IP address.

LAPD Termination

Displays LAP-D parameters for SDCCs that are as provisioned as OSI only. For LDCCs, this column is always N/A.

OSI SNPA

If the LDCC is provisioned for OSI, SNPA information is shown here:

  • Router-Indicates the ONS router and NSAP address.

  • Router State-Indicates whether the router is enabled or disabled.

Create

Displays the Create LDCC Termination dialog box to create a new LDCC termination.

Edit

Displays the Edit LDCC Termination dialog box to edit the highlighted LDCC termination.

Delete

Deletes the LDCC termination highlighted in the LDCC Terminations list.
