CTC Views
The Cisco Transport Controller (CTC) window appears when you log into a Cisco Optical Networking System (ONS) node. The window includes a menu bar, toolbar, and a top and bottom pane. The top pane provides status information about the selected objects and a graphic of the current view. The bottom pane provides tabs and subtabs that you use to view ONS node information and perform ONS node provisioning and maintenance. From this window you can display four views of the ONS network:
Network View provides a complete view of the ONS network, including all nodes connected by data communications channels (DCCs) to the login node, as well as nodes with LAN connections to the CTC computer.
Multishelf View appears if you log into a multishelf node. It displays the racks and shelves on the multishelf node. In Release 7.0, multishelf mode is only available for ONS 15454 dense wavelength divisioning (DWDM) nodes.
Node View and Shelf View provides a view of a node in single-shelf mode and allows you to provision node-level parameters.
Shelf View provides a view of a single shelf within a multishelf node.
Card View provides a view of one card and allows you to provision card-level parameters.
