Configuring RMON Alerts

Detailed Steps

To configure RMON alert groups, follow these steps:

  1. Select a switch in the Fabric pane.
  2. Expand Events and select Call Home in the Physical Attributes pane.

    3. You see the Call Home information in the Information pane.

  3. Click the Profiles tab.

    4. You see the Call Home profiles.

  4. Select the Create Row icon.

    5. You see the Create Call Home Profile dialog box.

  5. Select switches to send alerts.
  6. Enter the name of the profile.
  7. Select the message format, message size, and message severity level.
  8. Check the RMON check box in the AlertGroups section.
  9. Click Create to create the profile for the RMON-based alerts.
  10. Close the dialog box.
