Discarding Role-Based Configuration Changes

If you discard (abort) the changes made to the pending database, the configuration database remains unaffected and the lock is released.

Detailed Steps

To discard role-based configuration changes using DCNM-SAN, follow these steps:

1. Expand Switches > Security and then select Users and Roles in the Physical Attributes pane.
2. Click the Roles CFS tab in the Information pane.
3. Set the Config Action drop-down menu to abort to discard any uncommitted changes.
4. Click the Apply Changes icon to save this change.
