Configuring Load Balancing Using VRRP

You must first configure VRRP on the Gigabit Ethernet interfaces on the switch that connect to the IP network before configuring VRRP for iSLB.

Detailed Steps

To configure VRRP load balancing using Device Manager, follow these steps:

  1. Choose IP > iSCSI iSLB.
  2. You see the iSCSI iSLB dialog box.

  3. Click the VRRP tab.
  4. Click Create to configure VRRP load balancing for iSLB initiators.
  5. You see the Create iSCSI iSLB VRRP dialog box.

  6. Set the Vrld to the VRRP group number.
  7. Select either ipv4 or ipv6 and check the LoadBalance check box.
  8. Click Create to enable load balancing.
  9. If CFS is enabled, select commit from the CFS drop-down menu.
