Assigning FC ID Last Byte

If the FICON feature is configured in cascaded mode, the Cisco MDS switches use ISLs to connect to other switches.

Detailed Steps

To assign the last byte for the FC ID, follow these steps:

1. Choose All VSANs > Domain Manager.
2. Click the Persistent FCIDs tab.
3. Select single in the Mask column and then assign the entire FC ID at once. The single option allows you to enter the FC ID in the ###### format.
4. Click the Apply Changes icon to save these changes.
