Configuring Port Prohibiting

Detailed Steps

To prohibit port addresses in a VSAN using Device Manager, follow these steps:

  1. Choose FICON > VSANs.
  2. Select a VASAN ID and click Port Configuration.

    3. You see the FICON Port Configuration dialog box.

  3. Set the port prohibit configuration for the selected FICON VSANs.
  4. Click Apply to save these changes.
