Assigning a Port Address Name

Detailed Steps

To assign a port address name in Device Manager, follow these steps:

  1. Choose FICON > VSANs.
  2. Select a VSAN ID and click Port Configuration.

    3. You see the FICON Port Configuration dialog box.

  3. Enter the Port Configuration information.
  4. Click Apply to save the configuration information.
