Creating FC Aliases

Detailed Steps

To create an FC alias, follow these steps:

  1. Choose Zone > Edit Local Full Zone Database.

    2. You see the Select VSAN dialog box.

  2. Select a VSAN and click OK.

    3. You see the Edit Local Full Zone Database dialog box for the selected VSAN.

  3. Click Aliases in the lower left pane. The right pane lists the existing aliases.
  4. Click the Insert icon to create an alias.

    5. You see the Create Alias dialog box.

  5. Set the Alias Name and the pWWN.
  6. Click OK to create the alias.
