Select a Source Volume

Use this screen to select a Source Volume to:

Select the source volume for the Copy/Mirror/Migrate operation, and then select Continue.

What You Need to Know

Copy Volume copies the data from the source volume to the destination volume. Changes to the source volume while the copy is in progress are reflected in the destination volume.

Mirror Volume copies the data from the source volume to the destination volume and dynamically updates the destination volume upon source volume changes. The source and destination volumes are kept synchronized.

Copy/Migrate Volume copies the data from the source volume to the destination volume. Changes to the source volume while the copy is in progress are reflected in the destination volume. When the copy is finished, all volume-server mappings move to the destination volume and the source volume is deleted. The copied data now resides on the destination volume. The source volume for a Copy/Migrate cannot be participating in other Copy, Mirror, Copy/Migrate, or Replication operations.
