Enabling external directory services authentication allows the Storage Center to utilize LDAP, Kerberos, and Active Directory authentication schemes.
The Storage Center may try to populate the fields for you if possible. Verify this information correctly identifies your structure.
Directory Type- The implementation of authentication in use.
URI- The Uniform Resource Identifier that describes your authentication servers. Ex. ldap://server1:port ldap://server2:port
Server Connection Timeout- Specifies the length of time the Storage Center will spend to try and contact your directory server.
Base DN- The base of the directory service tree.
Relative Base- Prepended to the Base DN for use in the join operation.
Storage Center Hostname- The fully qualified hostname for the storage center.
LDAP Domain- The domain for the service.
Auth Bind DN- Username with sufficient privileges to perform a bind.
Auth Bind Password- Password for the above username.
Select Continue to continue with the wizard.
Select Test Servers to test your directory settings.
Select Upload TLS Cert to upload certificates if you are using TLS.
Select Cancel to exit without saving changes.
