Select Redundancy

Select Redundancy to prepare the disk folder for redundant storage.

Select No Redundancy to prepare the disk folder for non-redundant storage.

What You Need to Know

When redundant storage is used, the disk folder uses a combination of RAID 10 and RAID 5 storage or RAID 10-DM and RAID 6 storage to protect against data loss in the event of a disk failure.

When non-redundant storage is used, the disk folder uses RAID 0 storage and has no protection against data loss in the event of a disk failure. Only use this type of storage for data that is backed up in some other way.
