Use this screen to configure the schedule(s) upon which you wish to have VSS Replays created. VSS Replays make point-in-time copies of data version at the specified time(s). VSS Replays allow you to recover lost data or revert to a previous data state. VSS Replays track, organize, and present previous point-in-time copies of data. VSS Replay schedules determine when point-in-time copies are written to the volume.
Select a Schedule Type from the list:
| Select Once for a one-time snapshot. Select the Start time (the date/time the snapshot is taken) and Expiration (the date/time this snapshot expires and is deleted), and click Add New Rule. | |
| Select Daily for a daily replay. Select the time or interval and time between. Select the Expiration time and click Add New Rule. | |
| Select Weekly for a weekly replay. Select the day(s) of the week. Select the time or interval and time between. Select the Expiration time and click Add New Rule. | |
| Select Monthly for a monthly replay. Select the day(s) of the month. Select the time or interval and time between. Click Select Months to select which months of the year this rule is in effect. Select the Expiration time and click Add New Rule. |
Click Modify Selected Rule to modify an existing template. Choose one from the list and click OK. You may then modify this template.
Click Remove Selected Rule to delete an existing template. Choose it from the list and click OK.
Click Import Data from Existing Templates to import rules from an existing template. Choose one from the list and click OK. You may then modify this template.
Click Continue to go to the next screen.
