When Remote Compellent Connections are created on a remote Compellent Storage Center using CHAP Authentication, a Remote Compellent CHAP Initiator must be created on the local Storage Center with a matching secret.
Enter the CHAP Name and Remote Target Secret for the Remote Compellent Connection that is establishing the connection to this Initiator using CHAP Authentication.
The Remote Port Secret is only needed if the Remote Compellent Connection that is establishing the connection is using Bi-directional Authentication. If the remote Storage Center is using iSCSI Virtual Ports, the Remote Port Secret value for this Initiator must match the CHAP Secret of the remote Control Port. If the remote Storage Center is not using iSCSI Virtual Ports, the Remote Port Secret value for this Initiator must match the CHAP Secret of the remote IO Card.
Select Add Now to add the Initiator.
