Advanced Options

Consistent Replay Profiles pause IO to all volumes during replay creation. When the system is under heavy load, this may cause server IO timeouts. If you are experiencing server IO timeouts during consistent replay creation, you may want to set a timeout limit after which the Storage Center will release the pause on IO.

To set a timeout value, select the checkbox to be alerted when replay creation takes longer than the specified number of seconds.

If a timeout occurs, replays may have been created for some volumes using the Consistent Replay Profile, but not others. The leads to an inconsistent group of replays for recovering data. The Automatically expire incomplete replay groups checkbox allows you to control the cleanup of incomplete replay groups when this happens.
