Generate New SSL Certificate

You use this screen to generate a new SSL Certificate which matches your Dell Compellent Storage Center's IP Address or DNS name.

What You Need to Know

The certificates shipped with the Storage Center will not match the IP Address or DNS name assigned to the production system.

This means that when you connect to the Storage Center, you will see a pop up message identifying a mismatch when comparing the IP Address or DNS name in the certificate to the IP Address or DNS name of the Storage Center.

To correct this mismatch, enter the IP Address or DNS name of the Storage Center as you refer to it in your browser. The Storage Center will generate a new certificate set with this IP Address or DNS name, eliminating the mismatch pop up when you connect.

WARNING: This command will close the current connection. You will have to log back in to continue.

Click Generate Now to create and install the new certificates.
