Configure IO Card Changes

The IO Card Change wizard has detected active front end ports on this controller.

Select Cancel to exit the wizard.

Select Continue to proceed without restarting the controller. Use this option if you have determined there are no active front end ports on this controller.

Select Restart Controller to restart the controller before proceeding (recommended). Use this option to restart this controller to move any active front end ports to the other controller before configuring IO card changes on this controller.

What You Need To Know

In a dual controller environment, to prevent server IO disruption, it is strongly recommended that there be no active front end ports when configuring IO card changes on a controller.

A controller restart will move any active front end ports to the other controller before configuring IO card changes.
