Mapping a server to a volume creates a link from the server to the volume. When the volume is created, click the Map this Volume to a Server link to complete the mapping process and make the new volume available to a server. Volumes can be mapped to more than one server, for multi-pathing or special file system needs. To successfully map a volume to a server, the connection between the HBA and the Storage Center must be up and available.
