Use this screen to select whether to send an email, page, or SNMP trap when an event in the listed alert group occurs. Click on the checkbox to enable sending the alert. Alerts are sent to all users having email or pager addresses. A single user can have up to 3 email addresses and one pager address.
The SMTP Mail Server field must contain the IP address of the SMTP server for external notifications to be sent to users. Select Management->Properties->System Properties from the toolbar to configure this information.
SNMP traps are only sent if the Compellent System is configured to do so. Select Administration->Configure SNMP Server to configure this information.
