Configure the SMTP Server

Select Management->Properties->System Properties from the toolbar. Enter the IP address of the SMTP server in the SMTP Mail Server field. This allows external notifications to be sent to users set up to receive SMTP email or pager messages. Alerts are sent this way.

What You Need to Know

Select Management->Properties->User Properties to view user email and pager contact information. Users will only receive email or pager messages if the SMTP Mail Server field contains the IP address of the SMTP server and they are set up to receive messages.
