The restoration process loads data from an external device using Synchronous Replication. When the restore is completed, the Compellent System reverses the Synchronous Replication from the local volume to the External Device.
You are also given the option to map local volume to a server during the restoration process.
Select the destination volume to be restored from the External Device. If you do not have a destination volume, click the Create Volume to create the volume, and upon completion, you will be returned to this screen.
When you have selected the desired destination volume, click Continue to go to the next screen.
