Topology Explorer View

The Topology Explorer view displays a graphical representation of the linkages between volumes, servers, and remote Storage Centers.

With the Topology Explorer, you can map volumes to servers and replicate volumes to remote Storage Center volumes or other external devices easily by dragging one component to another.

Understanding Topology Explorer

The Topology Explorer is divided into three columns. The left column displays servers, the middle column displays volumes, and the right column displays remote Storage Center volumes or other external devices.

Linkages are drawn on the Topology Explorer to display how volumes are mapped to servers or replicated to remote Storage Centers or external devices. The Connections button allows you to toggle the display of these linkages between Show All Connections and Show Connections for Selected Object Only. On the mapping linkages between volumes and servers, the LUN value used for the mapping is display on the linkage.

The Topology Explorer also groups volumes, servers, and remote volumes into their related folders. The Folders button toggles the display between showing and not showing these folders.
