Remote Systems are automatically created when the system detects FC (Fibre Channel) or iSCSI connections to or from another Compellent system.  FC connections are automatic, but iSCSI connections must be manually configured.

Use the Add iSCSI Remote Compellent Connections wizard on both the local and the remote system to add iSCSI connections between the systems. The connections must be configured on both the local and remote system before Replication will function properly.
