The following table lists fax data structure fields that are unsupported or restricted on DM3 devices. The nature of the limitation is noted, and if applicable a reference is given to the location of additional details.

The DF_ASCIIDATA structure is not used. When an ASCII file is converted to a fax image, the following rules apply. Regardless of the page length you specify, the converted fax image has no maximum size (unlimited length). No pagination is performed by the firmware. Font is fixed at 10 lines per inch (each line is approximately 1/10 inch in height); prints approximately 12 characters per inch; 16 scan lines of MH data; 16 (horizontal) by 16 (vertical) pixels or 80 characters maximum per line. Top Margin is set to 3, Left Margin to 14 and Right Margin to 94. | |
