




1. How To Use This Manual
1.1. Getting Started with this Guide
This guide is for users who have a DTI or voice and network board and related software installed on a host computer operating in a Linux or Windows environment.
For a list of the hardware products supported with this software, see the Release Guide for your system release.
The following steps explain the order in which a Digital Network Interface board and related software products should be installed, checked, and programmed.
- Prepare the Digital Network Interface board for installation using the appropriate hardware installation card (see Appendix D).
- Install this release by following the procedure described in the Software Installation Guide (for Linux or Windows).
- Install the Digital Network Interface board(s) in your PC following the procedures in the appropriate hardware installation card (see Appendix D).
- Refer to this Digital Network Interface Software Reference for Linux and Windows, and the Standard Runtime Library Programmer's Guide (for Linux or Windows which is included in the Voice Software Reference (for Linux or Windows) to develop application programs.
To use software for other devices, refer to the appropriate software reference for specific instructions (see Appendix D).
