3.1 Connecting to External Equipment
To run the Global Call API demo program, you need one or more of the following:
- For protocols other than Analog, a back-to-back connection is required. For Analog protocols, a ring generator such as a Teltone is required.
- A technology simulator.
Two boards can be connected back to back or a board can be connected to a technology simulator. Connections can be made either before or after installing the IntelŪ DialogicŪ system software that includes the Global Call software.
