Description

Note: The gc_Open( ) function is deprecated in this software release. The gc_OpenEx( ) function replaces this function and must be used instead.

The gc_Open( ) function opens a Global Call device and returns a unique line device ID (or handle) to identify the physical device or devices that carry the call.
