1.4 Call Control Libraries
- Each supported network technology requires a call control library to provide the interface between the network and the Global Call library. The call control libraries currently supported by the Global Call API are as follows:
GC_CUSTOM1_LIB
- The first of two call control library place holders for custom call control libraries. Any third-party Global Call compatible call control library can be used as a custom library. The Global Call library supports up to two custom libraries.
- GC_CUSTOM2_LIB
- The second of two call control library place holders for custom call control libraries. Any third-party Global Call compatible call control library can be used as a custom library. The Global Call library supports up to two custom libraries.
- GC_DM3CC_LIB
- The call control library that controls access to network interfaces on DM3 boards. This call control library supports Analog, E-1, T-1, ISDN and H.323 protocols.
- GC_H3R_LIB
- The call control library that controls access to IP network interfaces.
- GC_ICAPI_LIB
- The Interface Control Application Programming Interface (ICAPI) call control library that controls access to network interfaces that use T-1 robbed bit signaling or E-1 CAS and ICAPI protocols.
- GC_IPM_LIB
- The call control library that provides access to IP media resources.
- GC_ISDN_LIB
- The Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) call control library that controls network interfaces connected to an ISDN network.
- GC_PDKRT_LIB
- The Protocol Development Kit Run Time (PDKRT) call control library that controls access to network interfaces that use T-1 robbed bit signaling or E-1 CAS and PDK protocols. The PDKRT is a flexible engine and can be used to add features to protocols.
- GC_SS7_LIB
- The call control library that controls SS7 network interfaces on DataKinetics boards.
