5.4.1. Routing Functions

The Global Call SS7 Call Control Library (Libgcs7) supports the Global Call routing functions (gc_Listen( ), gc_UnListen( ), and gc_GetXmitSlot( )). These functions are available to user application for performing routing of SS7 circuits regardless of their physical location (for example, on an Intel® Dialogic network interface (DTI) board or on an Intel® NetStructure™ SS7 board). This allows the application to use one single set of functions without having to know where the circuit is located (that is, on a DTI board or on an Intel® NetStructure™ SS7 board).

The following functions are provided:

• int gc_Listen(LINEDEV linedev, SC_TSINFO *sctsinfo_p, mode)
• int gc_Unlisten(LINEDEV linedev, mode)
• int gc_GetXmitSlot(LINEDEV linedev, SC_TSINFO *sctsinfo_p, mode)
