System
Release
This section provides information on new products and features supported in
this release.
Administrative
These documents provide instructions for installing, configuring, and monitoring
Intel® Dialogic® boards.
Conferencing
These documents provide information on developing conferencing applications
using either Intel® Dialogic® MSI or DCB/SC technology.
CP
Fax
These documents provide information on fax channel and communication software,
which provides many features and capabilities for fast, convenient fax transactions.
Diagnostics
and Utilities
These documents describe diagnostic tools and utilities used for testing the
functionality of Intel® Dialogic® hardware.
Fax
This document provides a reference for fax functions and parameters used in
developing voice/fax and fax applications for Intel® Dialogic® fax products.
Global
Call
These documents provide information on using the Global Call application programming
interface to develop computer telephony applications that require call control
functionality. Such applications include, but are not limited to, Call Routing,
Enhanced Services, Unified Messaging, Voice Messaging, LAN Telephony Services,
Computer Telephony Services, Switching, PBX, Interactive Voice Response, Help
Desk, and Work Flow applications.
IP
Media
These documents provide information about building an Internet Telephony application
using the IP Media software, which is typically used with the Global Call call
control application programming interface (API).
ISDN
The Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) is a collection of internationally
accepted standards for defining interfaces and operation of digital switching
equipment for the transmission of voice, data, and signaling. These documents
are intended for users who have purchased an Intel® Dialogic® board
that provides ISDN Primary Rate or Basic Rate connectivity and an Intel®
Dialogic® system software and SDK release for either Linux or Windows.
Network
Interface
These documents provide guidelines for designing applications that run on a
host PC and work with one or more Network Interface boards.
PBX
Integration
These documents provide information on using the D/42 series software, together
with standard D/4x voice software, to develop voice and call processing applications
on PBX Integration boards for a PBX system.
R4
on DM3
The R4 API is a direct interface developed for creating CT application programs
tailored to Intel® Dialogic® Springware products. This guide describes
specific aspects of the R4 interface that relate to support for the Intel®
Dialogic® DM3 Mediastream products, including compatibility issues, restrictions,
and limitations. It also describes the technologies and features that are supported,
and presents specific details for system-related information such as software
configuration, initialization, and operation.
The SCbus is a real-time, high-speed, time division multiplexed (TDM) communications bus that provides 1024 time slots for transmission of digital information between SCbus products. It allows high-density systems to efficiently share resources so that multiple technologies can be connected to each port as needed. These documents provide an overview of SCbus routing, define its nomenclature, and describe its functions. These functions provide the ability to establish communications between SCbus devices.
Speech
These documents provide information on building applications using the Continuous
Speech Processing (CSP) software and voice software running on Intel® Dialogic®
supported boards. You will also find information on the CSP demonstration program.
Voice
These documents describe the major features provided with the voice software
and provide instructions for using the Voice Driver and Voice Libraries. You
will also find programming instructions and functional descriptions for the
Intel® Dialogic® Standard Runtime Library (SRL), which consists of event
management and standard attribute functions, as well as for the SRL Device Mapper
Library Interface (SDM API), a subset of the SRL.
