Event Service API for Windows Library Reference

The Event Service API Library Reference provides a reference to all classes, functions, data structures and events in the Event Service library.

This document includes the following:

• An introduction to the categories of functions in the Event Service library
• A reference to the Event Service API functions
• Names and descriptions of the events that are transmitted via the various channels of the event notification framework
• Reference information about the data types that are defined by the Event Service API
• A definition of the data structures used by the Event Service API
• A list and description of the error codes that are used by the Event Service API

This document assumes that you are familiar with the Windows operating system and the C++ programming language.

The Event Service API Library Reference is a companion guide to the Event Service API Programming Guide, which provides guidelines for designing applications that can receive system administrative events via the event notification framework.
