Software Reference
The ISDN Software Reference provides reference
information for the ISDN call control library that can
be used to develop computer telephony applications that
use the ISDN Basic Rate Interface (BRI) or Primary Rate
Interface (PRI).
Note: The ISDN call control library
is an older, lower-level library that has largely been
subsumed into the Global Call API library. Although
the ISDN library continues to be supported, it is documented
primarily for purposes of backwards compatibility. New
applications should generally be developed with the
Global Call API library, which is now the preferred
library for managing call control on ISDN interfaces.
